i would love to enshrine our magical day here. but days have passed but we are still basking in sweet memories, hand-delivered cards, gifts from the registered mail (oh, what a delight to sign on that line and say thank you to mr postman!). also completely enveloped by dirty laundry, boxes of barang barang, green plants screaming for attention. the mister got us a lovely country watering can so that i can be a happy water-bearer. every night, i would pull in the quilt closer to me, and breathe in deeply. it’s comforting, that familiar scent of the dear one. it’s still difficult waking up in the morning. this morning, we slept in for 5 more minutes for that much appreciated hug and bliss of the day. someday in the near future, we would be staring out at our impeccable lawn, sipping tea in my little pink floral cup with that matching saucer, digging into the freshly-baked cranberry cheese muffin for me and cheese cracker with roast potatoes for him, and saying hi to our lovely neighbours who have just walked by. it’s a good thought to start the day. it’s also about time we start the auyongs’ i-blog on our very cool macbook, write gideon a wowing testimonial, host the goblins a little tea party (with gorgeous tea from rayavadee!), pay letty a visit at her new cafe, and rediscover the joy of putting skips in my steps. skippy, kissy love.
