the travelling closet opened for the very first time. the room was set in a blaze of soft tangerine, and the hubby and i are mighty pleased with the works. it’s a small affair, with goods from all over the place. tops from victoria’s secret, pouches from vietnam, bags from karenni village, and gorgeous pouches and accessories handmade and lovingly handstitched by my talented sis-in-law and her equally amazing boyfriend. the hubby bought one pouch for me, and i just cant wait to share their creation with the world. like a home party of sorts, we had eclairs, cream puffs, sandwiches, chocolate and jugs of thai tea clinking with ice. i feel like a Bree, cos everything has to be pretty. latte was busier than any of us. he zipped in and out of rooms, sniffing new friends, showing off old tricks. at the end of the day, we are beat, albeit the small turnout and slow sales. but it was fun-tastic.

beanbean:: eh, not really. my cousins had some consignment goods, and my sis-in-law made some stuff, so i suggested using my place as a home shopping venue. mini affair only. we’ll be having a garage sale at my place next month, selling both brand new and ’semi-new’ clothes, accessories and home decor stuff. can drop me a note if you’re interested!
