sing me a lullaby today March 12, 2008

today’s the kind of day that makes it ok to be lazy. i look out and it’s the rain making my greens messy. i close my eyes and it’s the noisy quiet that makes it feel as if my mind is busy, but really, it’s just hibernating. latte lies down warm and comfy under the white wicker bench, occasionally opening his small brown eyes when i make a noise. the huddy sleeps on the couch, content, his toes sometimes twitching. i’m not in the best state today with frequent bouts of nausea and bloatedness, but when the day is misty and rainy and dreamy like this, things just don’t seem all that bad. so i’m going to wash myself some strawberries and kiwis, put on a jazz cd, and just live perfectly.
